Once, someone told me that it is non-sense for the designer who do not use western alphabets as a native language to design western one. I thought I could talk an advantage of my weakness by regarding western alphabet as a structure of elements instead of language at first. Besides, I used to design Korean letters, which helped me to build up the structure of western alphabet with different perspective. I draw sketches and build up a basic structures of letters in illustrator program. I then refine and apply them in Fontlab.
